Recently, the use of alloys in aluminium alloys is a trend in achieving changes in chemical, mechanical and technological properties. This paper deals with the investigation of the area of calcium influence, especially on the machinability of the alloy. The analysis was performed by alloying AlSi7Mg0.3 with master alloy AlCa10. Four types of samples with different calcium content, from at least 0.1% Ca, up to 1% Ca maximum, were produced. In the case of such samples, research was carried out on the technological properties and especially the workability. ER
